I keep my pantry stocked with staples for recipes like this. The creamy garlic sauce is perfect over the pasta, especially with the bacon and mushrooms.
Ingredients

1 package of bacon, sliced into small pieces

454 grams mushrooms, sliced

500 grams linguine, cooked according to package

3 - 4 garlic cloves, minced

1 cup cream
-
1 cup chicken broth
-
1 tablespoon mustard
-
1 tablespoon Italian seasoning

Salt and black pepper, to taste
Directions
Prepare linguine according to package instructions until pasta is al dente.
Heat a frying pan, over medium heat. Fry bacon pieces until they start to crisp up.
Add sliced mushrooms to the pan and season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Fry mixture until mushrooms soften.
Stir in minced garlic, mustard, broth, and cream. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes.
Add al dente linguine to the pan and simmer until pasta softens to your liking.
