A simple and flavourful dressing pulls this pasta salad together. Perfect for a busy weeknight or even for a weekend picnic with friends.
Ingredients

1 head romaine lettuce, chopped

1 box bowtie pasta
-
1 pint grape tomatoes, sliced in half
-
1 container of cocktail Bocconcini cheese
-
4 chicken breasts, grilled and sliced

Montreal chicken seasoning, to taste

Olive oil, to drizzle
-
5 garlic cloves, minced
-
½ cup olive oil
-
⅓ balsamic vinegar
-
Salt & black pepper, to taste
Salad Dressing:
Directions
Cook bowtie pasta, on the stove, as per package instructions. Once cooked, drain and chill pasta with cold water.
Drizzle chicken breasts with olive oil and season with Montreal chicken seasoning. Grill on the barbecue until chicken is cooked through. Set aside to rest.
Chop lettuce and slice tomatoes and place into a salad bowl.
In a mini food processor, add garlic, oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, and pepper. Puree until well combined.
Slice chicken breast and add to the salad bowl. Pour in chilled pasta and cheese and toss salad until well combined.
Pour balsamic dressing over the salad to complete it.
