Pico de Gallo or “salsa fresca” is a delicious and fresh salsa that pairs well with a meal or on its own with tortilla chips. Either way, it’s a flavourful part of your family dinner or gathering with friends.

I use my vegetable chopper to quickly dice the tomatoes, onions, and peppers for this pico de gallo recipe. I hope you enjoy it as much as the SFB family does.

Ingredients

5 Roma tomatoes, diced
3-4 bell peppers, diced
1 onion, diced
½ bunch cilantro, minced
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 lemon, juiced
¼ cup olive oil
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Tajin seasoning, to taste (optional)

Directions

Dice tomatoes, onion, and peppers either by hand or using a vegetable chopper.
Place vegetables into a large bowl and add cilantro, garlic, and seasonings, according to taste.
Drizzle olive oil and lemon juice over the vegetables and mix well.
Cover bowl and store in refrigerator until ready to serve.
