For a perfect blend of sweet and savoury flavours, baked acorn squash hits the spot. The ultimate comfort food for any fall or winter gathering.
Ingredients

2 acorn squash, cut in half

¼ cup brown sugar

1 tbsp butter
-
1 clove garlic, minced

Salt & Black Pepper, to taste
Per half squash add:
Directions
Preheat oven to 375°F.
Wash acorn squash and pat dry. Cut each squash in half and scoop out the seeds.
Wrap the bottom of each squash half with tinfoil in order to keep squash level. Place into baking dish.
Fill the middle of each squash with brown sugar, butter, and minced garlic. Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.
Bake squash, in preheated oven, for 60 minutes.
