The aromatic garlic butter, infused with your choice of seasoning, makes this Garlic Bread perfect for family dinners or gatherings with friends. This recipe is simple and frugal with a whole lot of flavour.
Ingredients

1 loaf of French Bread, halved

5 cloves garlic, minced

½ cup salted butter, softened

¼ cup olive oil
-
1 ½ tsp Italian seasoning
Directions
Preheat oven to 450°F.
Slice the French bread in half, lengthwise. Set aside.
Using a mini food processor, add garlic cloves and process until minced.
Add butter, olive oil, and seasoning blend to minced garlic and process until well combined.
Spread garlic butter to both halves of the French bread. For a soft loaf of garlic bread, place two halves of bread together and wrap with foil. For a crispy loaf, place halves of bread butter side up on a baking sheet.
For the soft loaf: bake for 15 minutes.
For crispy loaf: bake for 10 minutes.
Remove from the oven and slice prior to serving.

Recipe Note
*If using unsalted butter, add 1 tsp of salt to the mixture.
*Experiment with different seasoning blends to match the flavours of your meal. If the seasoning contains salt, only use 1 tsp of seasoning blend.
