I used my mini food processor, Brenda the Blenda (if you know, you know), to whip up this recipe. Hummus is the perfect dip for pitas and fresh veggies. Quick, easy, and delicious!
Ingredients
-
1 can chickpeas, drained and rinsed well
-
3 - 4 garlic cloves
-
2 tablespoons olive oil
-
1 lemon, juiced
-
1 teaspoon tahini
-
Water, to smooth out Hummus
-
Salt, to taste
-
Sprinkle of sumac spice, for serving
Directions
In a food processor, place chickpeas, garlic cloves, olive oil, lemon juice, and tahini. Pureé ingredients until smooth. Add small amounts of water, as needed, to smooth out hummus.
Sprinkle salt over the hummus and mix well. Pour into a serving bowl.
Top with a drizzle of olive oil and a sprinkle of sumac spice before serving.
